Using existing fire alarm systems to alert schools to terror and bomb alert threats

Terror Alerts:
Most recently it appears that local councils, schools and universities have been instructed to implement a terror and bomb alert procedure into their plans and this is where Island Technologies can help.
A terror alert is much different from a bomb alert in that one requires pupils and staff to lock down the school and the other requires a total evacuation procedure. Through these developed systems Island Technologies can offer a cost-effective solution to help with the notification of a potential security threat by using the existing fire alarm bells or electronic sounders, which will already be sitewide within the premises under fire regulations, to produce different tone patterns alerting to various types of incidents.
