Aov Vents (Automatic Opening Vents) are designed to activate on the detection of smoke. Once activated, the vents open and the harmful gases and smoke are withdrawn from the communal corridor and stairwell areas. This is extremely important so that the area is clear allowing for the safe evacuation of persons inside the building.

We are able to install AOV systems for any size property following risk assessment and building control specifications. Once installed, AOV systems need to be regularly serviced and maintained to be sure that they will function correctly at that critical time.
